The Lost Scene

Life is a tapestry of compromises, nowhere more evident than in the realm of filmmaking, where elements often find themselves cut from the master. It's not a dismissal but a narrative necessity. Within my creative compromises lies what I refer to as 'The Lost Scene'. A sequence which depicts a young woman succumbing to the insidious influence of a dark force she willingly invited into her world.
In the final cut of 'The Village in the Woods,' featuring the stellar cast of Beth Park, Robert Vernon, Richard Hope, Therese Bradley, Rebecca Johnson, Phill Martin, Timothy Harker, Katie Alexander Thom, and Sidney Kean, this scene didn't find its place. Yet, within its frames resides a haunting beauty that lingers. Testament to choices made in crafting a larger narrative.
