I initially entered the film business via acting, most notably working in motion capture for Bryan Singer's 'Jack the Giant Killer'. My initiation to the other side of the camera began by directing and editing corporate films for clients, both at home and internationally. This afforded me valuable experience in storytelling under short form constraints.

My self-shot short film, ‘I Shall Visit’ screened at Cannes ‘Short Film Corner’ in 2015 and received critical praise for its minimalist approach. In early 2016 I directed my debut feature, ‘The Village in the Woods’ starring Richard Hope (Poldark) and Therese Bradley (Young Adam). In addition to directing, I co-wrote, composed the original soundtrack and co-edited the movie with Oral Ottey (Game of Thrones). Since its UK release in October 2019 it has sold to 14 countries including the UK, USA, Canada and Germany. It consistently appeared in the UK iTunes Top Horror charts for two years. In late 2021 'The Village in the Woods' opened to 79 cinema screens in Russia and ran for five weeks, with theatrical releases in South Korea and Malaysia to follow later this year (2022).

I was recently selected to join BAFTA as a BAFTA Connect Member.
